PML-N’s screams will be heard on Mars if we also play by their rules: Chohan

Punjab Minister for Information & Culture Fayyazul Hassan Chohan condemned on Tuesday, hooliganism by the opposition members during the Provincial Assembly session saying the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) has shown its true colours under the leadership of Hamza Shehbaz.

Talking to reporters outside the Punjab Assembly, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan observed that today’s ruckus has exposed PML-N’s real face before the masses. The people of Punjab have now realised that the opposition, mainly the PML-N has nothing to do with democracy, democratic institutions and the parliamentary politics, he added. He said the opposition legislators led by Hamza Shehbaz tried to attack the Punjab Assembly secretary and damaged the state property, which is highly condemnable. He also criticised Hamza for the latter’s derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan saying the PML-N has had a history of targeting the women of its opponents.

“This is highly condemnable that Hamza is trying to drag the females of his opponents into the politics. Aleema Khan is a purely non-political figure and has nothing to do with politics,” he maintained.

“I just want to remind Hamza about his own words that opponents’ females should not be discussed in public. He must abide by his own words,” he maintained. He said PM Imran Khan has taught his ministers and workers to respect the women no matter they are related to opponents or supporters. Chohan warned if the opposition members do not desist from hurling baseless accusation and mudslinging, then “We can pay them back in the same coin and even better because the opposition is more vulnerable on this pretext. Their screams will then be heard even on Mars.”
