28 US university representatives visit Roots Millennium College

Roots Millennium College (RMC) Clifton, Karachi in collaboration with the United States Educational Foundation Pakistan (USEFP) and EdProgrammes organised an important visit of 28 American Universities to RMC Campus to talk and brief the millennials about global opportunities and scholarships.

Roots Millennium College (RMC), Clifton Karachi Campus, is an initiative by Pakistan’s third largest education group; The Millennium Education. RMC recognises many benefiting partnerships and affiliations that help provide curriculum enrichment and choices in disciplines to study. In terms of widening the learner participation and employability scope, RMC facilitates entry into higher education by increasing the number of progression routes and subject choices for the students. Global collaborations and qualifications do not only provide a diverse learning environment but also increase educational opportunity and a mutually supportive learning ecosystem for staff, learners and community.

The 28 US universities that visited the Millennium College Flagship Campus included University of Iowa, Valparaiso University, California State University, Boise State University, Merrimack College, Albion College, New York Institute of Technology, Kent State University, Wabash College, Louisiana Tech University, University of Illinois Chicago, University of Bridgeport, Indiana University, State University of New York, Buffalo, Siena College, Kansas State University, DePauw University, Western New England University, Western Kentucky University, SUNY Plattsburgh, Minerva at KGI, SUNY Fredonia, Shoreline Community College, Augustana College, Coe College, Fordham University, Colby-Sawyer College and Ohio Wesylan University. The university representatives talked and briefed the Millennials about global opportunities and scholarships.

The event was quite productive and attended by all the students of AS and A Level, along with their parents and students of The Millennium University College TMUC Karachi which is an initiative of The Millennium Education and caters to many international qualifications and degrees. The students engaged in an intellectual and pertinent session of questions and answers related to scholarships, placements, requirements, cultural integration, student life, accommodation and college funds.

This was yet another feather in the cap for Roots Millennium Schools & Colleges as they once again provided an unprecedented opportunity for global connectivity for their students and brought these Millennials a step closer to the realization of their dreams of visiting sought after colleges in US.
