Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister (CM)on Information Barrister Murtaza Wahab flayed federal government for its decision to raise the power tariff in a statement released on Monday.
“Khan’s tsunami is falling like an electric shock on the nation,” said Barrister Wahab while lambasting Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan. Wahab said that International Monetary Fund (IMF) had began to control the steering of Imran’s government. While condemning the power tariff increase, the provincial advisor said that it was cruel of the government to treat the people this way.
MurtazaWahab said thatthe decisionto increase the tariff was taken to appease IMF. “Within fifty days in office, Imran’s federal government has increased gas, fuel and power prices. This has brought a wave of price hikes in the country as a result of which the purchasing power of common man has decreased”, he added. Barrister Wahab advised the federal government to refrain from anti-people measures.
