Police get five-day judicial remand of Majeed Achakzai

QUETTA: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) sent Member of Balochistan Assembly Majeed Khan Achakzai on a five-day judicial remand on Friday.

The accused was presented before the ATC in the cases pertaining to crushing traffic sergeant to the death and kidnapping for ransom in 2009.

The court extended the remand and asked the investigation officers to complete the probe as early as possible.

Sources told that Achakzai would be reappearing before the court on July 12. On the occasion, the MPA lashed out at the media, saying all the questions will be answered on August 14 in the assembly.

Majeed Achakzai was also presented in the court over allegations of murder and attempt to murder in 1992.
