Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique have been blacklisted by the immigration authorities following a request by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

According to a notification issued by the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, both have been blacklisted under ‘Category B’ for future passport facilities.

The NAB has summoned the former railways minister and his brother on October 16 in a case related to the Paragon Housing Scheme scandal.

A day earlier, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had rejected a plea by Saad and his brother for protective bail against alleged harassment by the NAB.

According to the notification, former PML-N MPA Qaiser Amin Butt has also been blacklisted on NAB’s request.
