For the first time in the history of Pakistan, a hologram of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is coming to Kasur.
According to a statement, the initiative ‘Aik-Better Together’ is being executed by HIVE Pakistan in collaboration with District Council Kasur.
“It intends to promote Quaid’s teachings of peace, tolerance, interfaith harmony and unity among the people of Pakistan. It is to remind the nation of the principles over which Quaid fought for us; making this country a place where every faith could have a respectable place, the statement said.
Starting from October 13, 2018, a hologram of Jinnah would be projected in Kasur at different public places followed by public art installations and workshops to engage youth, women and local community leaders.
The hologram content of the projections has been collected by various speeches of Muhammad Ali Jinnah where he spoke about interfaith harmony, women empowerment, coexistence and social cohesion.
“Since we have an immense emotional affiliation with the leader of the nation, the purpose of the initiative is to engage with different strata of the society,” the statement added.
After the hologram screenings, dedicated workshops for youth, women and local politicians would be conducted to reinforce Quaid’s guiding principles and their role in progress of the country.
The public art installations would be selectively displayed in Kasur to monumentally manifest Quaid’s message that reads, “With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to the duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve.”
