Woman who handed over Tayyaba to judge declared innocent

ISLAMABAD: The Federal police investigation team has declared as innocent the woman who handed over Tayyaba to judge OSD, Raja Khurram Ali Khan in connection with her job as maid servant. The police investigation team completed their investigation from the woman Nadra Bibi who has been declared innocent. Police sources told Daily Times that no evidence was found against Nadra Bibi in respect of her involvement in selling minor girls. The financial position of Nadra bibi is the worst and she meets her family expenses out of zakat money. Nadra Bibi had also got her niece and grand daughter employed as maid servants in different homes.

According to police no other is accused in the case except OSD Judge Raja Khurram Ali and his wife and the investigation process has been completed. A final challan in the court has been presented following completion of the investigation of Nadra Bibi. Sources said the case depends on the minor maid servant Tayyaba and five witnesses and the benefit of any contradiction in the statements of Tayyaba and witnesses can go to the judge and his wife. The police investigation team on Thursday had filed a complete challan against OSD Judge Raja Khurram and his wife in the court of area magistrate Haider Shah. According to this challan the wife of the judge has been directly held responsible for torture against Tayyaba. Raja Khurram has been declared accused of showing negligence in the medical treatment of Tayyaba.
