Dairy farmers defy Karachi commissioner, increase milk prices by Rs 6

KARACHI: Disregarding Karachi Commissioner’s instructions, dairy farmers in Karachi have increased milk prices by six rupees per liter.

This has resulted in the increase of milk price to Rs 90 .

The farmers stated that they could not continue supplying milk according to the prices set by the government and that the government had forced them into signing a notification to sell milk at Rs 80.
