Whenever we think about the food street of Burns Road, our mouths fill with water, because it’s the best food hub in Karachi and is the busiest street of the town.

The street, Burns Road, derived its name from a British spy–doctor, James Burnes. Although the street name was changed to “Muhammad Bin Qasim Road” after the partition, the road still continues to relish its ancient name.

There is no match for Burns Road food as it carries many popular, exceptional restaurants that feature their best cuisine. There is a huge variety of local foods like qorma, sajji, nihari, chapli kabab, biryani, haleem, chargha, fish and matkey waley dahi barey. Some hotels have introduced international food such as fast food, Chinese cuisine, Thai food, Singaporean dishes, but most people go to Burns Road for traditional dishes and drinks.

Whenever you pass from the streets of Burns Road, you smell the fragrance of spicy tikka boti. You crave the food and even the souring smell will never let you go without eating. There isn’t a single day that passes without a crowd of food lovers at Burns Road. The street truly comes alive at night. Every day, a troop of eaters is seen on the streets enjoying their favorite meal.

If your taste buds want honey and something salty, then you must check out Fresco, a shop on Burns Road well-known for its samosa, dahi phulki and sweets. The flavor of Delhi Darbar’s rabri is incredible. Once you’ve tasted it, it makes you want more.

Burns Road is the main station for all sweet and salty things. All the food places in our country don’t compare to Burns Road.
