ISLAMABAD: A man got injured on Tuesday when a passenger boarding bridge at Islamabad International Airport collapsed, however, no damage was caused to the parked plane belonging to a foreign airline during the incident.
According to the reports, the cause of the collapse of the bridge has not been determined yet.

The airport was inaugurated for the public on May 1 and almost Rs100 billion cost to build the airport which is designed as “Y” shaped.
The airport includes 15 passenger boarding bridges, a passenger-friendly terminal, two runways, three taxiways. The facilities to accommodate two double-deck A380, as many as 15 remote bays and seven remote bays for small aircraft are also available.
