Sindh High Court (SHC) heard a plea to shift NaqeebullahMehsud murder case to another court on Monday.
Investigation Officer (IO) of the case informed the court that former Malir Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rao Anwar has changed his residence and is not even receiving summons issued by the court.
“Rao Anwar has shifted to an unknown place from MalirCantt,” IO informed the court.The court adjourned the hearing of the case till October 29.
On August 06, Sindh High Court heard a plea to shift Naqeebullah murder case to another court from the anti-terrorism court (ATC). During the hearing, the council of Naqeebullah’s father Mohammad said that the ATC approved bails of former MalirSSP Rao Anwar despite the fact that case was under trial. He pleaded SHC to shift the case to another court from ATC. He said that his client, Mohammad Khan was not satisfied with the court’s performance in the case.
