The Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan Imran Khan, on Monday, chaired a high-level meeting to discuss his upcoming visit to China and review the projects under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The meeting was attended by the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Planning and Development Minister Khusro Bukhtiar, Minister for Power Omer Ayub Khan and Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, PM Office said.
The premier, while chairing the meeting, said that strengthening the “all weather” Pakistan-China friendship was the cornerstone of his government’s foreign policy and the ties between the two countries would further expand in the days ahead.
The prime minister is expected to visit China sometime this month.
