LWMC inspires graduates at LUMS Career Fair

LAHORE: The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) set up an awareness stall at the Lahore University of Management Sciences on the occasion of Career Fair.

LWMC’s participation in the Career Fair provided them with an opportunity to not only apprise hundreds of newly graduating youth about its efforts for modernising Solid Waste Management Systems and the protection of environment, but also gave them the opportunity to inspire talented students to join LWMC in the future in different capacities.

Leading companies from different sectors like FMCG, engineering, education, financial institutions, IT, telecom, and development from all over Pakistan also participated in the event, helping to attract a large number of graduates at the venue.

LWMC Managing Director Bilal Muhammad Syed along with Company Secretary Muzaffar Islam, Community Interface Specialist Zabreen Hassan were present at the stall and met with students who expressed an interest in working for LWMC.

Speaking on the occasion, LWMC MD Bilal Syed said that the annual Career Fair is not only a great opportunity for the graduates of LUMS but also gives organizations a way to seek the best talent for their organizations.

Interested students were briefed about LWMC’s mission, work and projects towards making Lahore a cleaner city on the world map. LWMC spokesperson said, “Hundreds of students were briefed and registered for future volunteer and internship work during the fair.”
