UNITED KINGDOM: Harry Potter series author J K Rowling opinion’s about Trump has led to burning of Harry Potter books.

J K Rowling retweeted Mike Pence’s old tweet that he sent out back in December 2015 that stated, “Calls to ban Muslims from entering the US are offensive and unconstitutional.”

However, one of her fans took it to social media to express her resentment towards J K Rowling’s opinion against President Donald Trump.

J K Rowling has been asked to stay out of politics, but J K Rowling stands for what she truly believes in and she believes that Trump is a bigot.

Harry Potter author has stood up against Trump’s policy and voiced her opinion several times via tweets which wasn’t appreciated by Trump’s fan.

One of J.K .Rowling’s fan was furious and she burned her book and tweeted J K Rowling stating, “I just burned all my Harry Potter books after being a fan for 17 years. The Philosopher’s Stone was one of the first books I EVER read. I’m upset it has to be that way. You embarrassed me, disgusted me, and I will never read your work again.”

J K Rowling responded back to the tweet, stating, “Guess it’s true what they say: you can lead a girl to books about the rise and fall of an autocrat, but you still can’t make her think.”

The drama didn’t just end there; rather it unfolded further causing more people to join the book burning ritual for Rowling’s comments on Trump. Another fan tweeted, “@jk_rowling glad I caught this article on yahoo. I will now burn your books and movies too.”

It seems as if a modern times novel has become a political weapon. Is there anything left safe and secure for the innocent minds of the children?

J K Rowling put an end to the mockery by a bold statement leaving everyone speechless. “Well, the fumes from the DVDs might be toxic and I’ve still got your money, so by all means borrow my lighter.”

J.K Rowling has always had some classy comebacks for all the trollers that attack her on Twitter but J.K Rowling knows how to handle troublemakers without magic. So don’t even try messing around with her.

One of her fan tweeted that every time one book is burned, she will buy two of them.

This isn’t the first time Harry Potter books have been burnt. There are have been several occasions her books were burned in protests by religious groups that accused J K Rowling to be promoting Satanic culture through her writing skill.
