LAHORE: Police on Saturday have registered a case against 150 Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers who staged a protest in the provincial capital against the arrest of PML-N President and Leader in Opposition Shehbaz Sharif.

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday in the Ashiana Housing Scheme case.

Following the arrest, the party workers took to the streets and staged a protest at Regal Chowk.

Earlier today, an accountability court on Saturday granted NAB a 10-day physical remand of PML-N President Shehbaz Shairf in the Ashiana Housing Scheme case.

Earlier, the court had reserved its judgment on NAB’s plea to send the PML-N president on a 15-day physical remand.
