LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz said on Monday that his party was not thinking about forming the government in Punjab.
While talking to the media in Lahore, the Punjab Assembly opposition leader stated: “We are not thinking about forming the government in Punjab. Let us not discuss this, let us enjoy being part of the opposition.”

Speaking of the current government’s performance, Hamza questioned, “What has this government done apart from auctioning buffaloes.”
Hamza went on saying, “This government keeps breaking their promises. They had earlier claimed they won’t raise gas and electricity prices but later they did it. Why are lies being propagated everywhere?”

“Those who had spoken against Nawaz Sharif are now being mocked by others,” the opposition leader further said.
Furthermore, speaking of the Senate election for a vacant seat, Hamza said his party is ready to contest the poll.
“We are not aiming to come into power only” Hamza added.
The PML-N leader also spoke about their senior party member Rana Mashhood’s recent claims, and said, “The party has no association with Rana Mashhood’s statement.”
