Two days into Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz’s appearance before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing Panama Leaks scandal and then speaking to the media afterwards, people are still discussing the articulate manner in which she spoke to the media.

Ranging from TV anchors to Twitterati, many believe that Maryam is more articulate compared to any other Sharifs from the next generation and hence capable of leading the party as far as hereditary politics goes.
But all has not been merrier. There are some who believe PM’s daughter’s speech was scripted and that there was nothing extraordinary about it.
Either you are for or against her notable media address, one simply cannot escape the fact that Maryam Nawaz’s speech has been the talk of the town both online and offline. What this means for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) future leadership? Only time will tell.
