Five Pakistan fighters to feature in MMA event in Lahore

Author: Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: The Brave Combat Federation has confirmed that the first-ever international mixed martial arts (MMA) event to be hosted in Pakistan on October 27 will feature five Pakistan fighters. Joining Uloomi Karim on the main card are Mehmosh Raza, Zia Mashwani, Haider Farman and Najam Khan. Uloomi will be featured in the co-main event where he will face Jeremy Pacatiw from Team Lakay, Philippines. Mehmosh, meanwhile, will face Arben Escayo from Philippines, Mashwani will face Yibugele from China, Farman will face Ariel Oliveros from Philippines and Najam will face Mohammed Wasim from Afghanistan. A brainchild of Bahraini royal family member Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the BCF was founded in 2016 but has swiftly gained traction in the fight circles and can already be regarded as perhaps the most notable MMA promotion out of the Middle East. It’s international ascension has been just as remarkable, with the nascent organisation already having staged events in Bahrain, UAE, Brazil, India, Mexico, Jordan, Colombia, Indonesia, United Kingdom and Morocco. Moreover, in less than two years of its inception, the BCF has seen its platform and facilities used by more than 250 fighters from 43 nations.
