Mushaira held in snow-covered Shaheed Park

PARACHINAR: A poetry recitation session (Mushaira) was held at the snow-covered ground Shaheed Park on Monday in Parachinar, Kurram Agency.

The Mushaira was organized by the Spinghar Literary Jirga president NoorGhulam Noori, Yousuf Hussain Yousuf, Sher Alam Turi, Mehdi ShahSherazi, Arif Jan Arif, and other poets recited their poetry during the poetic session held at the Shaheed Park.

The local poets highlighted the plight of tribal people and gave a message of peace and sectarian harmony through their couplet.

The poets said that they love their country and that why they organize a peace mushaira whenever snowfalls in the area despite of severe cold.

They called for Peace love and dignity and said Poets and writers provide opportunities for growth of positivism and our region need ethnic poets to eliminate the hanging fear of terrorism from the minds of locals.
