HYDERABAD: A 6-year-old minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and murdered in Hyderabad on Friday.
The minor went missing from a street nearby her residence, while her body was found dumped in Latifabad No 10 street. CCTV footage revealed that a burqa-clad individual dumped the girl’s body which was covered in a plastic bag.
The police has taken two of the victim’s relatives into custody for interrogation.
Family members of the minor said that she was the only daughter and was dearly loved by everyone in the house. They also expressed shock over suspects being their relatives.
The victim’s father said that he was blessed with the daughter after a wait of 6-years and that those involved in the gruesome act have ‘stolen our reason to smile’.
Postmortem examination report revealed that the minor was strangled to death.
