LAHORE: A group of civil society representatives spent a day with the Pakistani Army at Lahore Garrison.
The programme was aimed at introducing the civil society with the military life and to further enhance their confidence in their troops’ capability.
The day started with wreath laying by visitors at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.
They also witnessed a combat demonstration by Quick Reaction Force, along with weapon handling and firing. The group interacted with Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sadiq Ali after a short briefing about Army.
The programme concluded with a flag lowering ceremony at Pak-India joint check post at Ganda Singhwala near Kasur.
The group lauded the professionalism of Pakistan Army officers in defending the motherland.
