‘Only thing Sindh govt is interested is corruption’

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said on Tuesday the Sindh government is not serious in providing water to Karachi.

Talking to reporters in front of Safoora Goth hydrant, Kaptaan said only thing the government is interested is corruption.

The PTI would take to the streets to resolve the issue.

“Water mafia is increasing the problems of people and PTI will soon come out on roads for protesting against water issue. Depriving residents of the city for water is the disqualification of the government,” he added.

Earlier, the skipper visited the Darul Uloom Farooqia, where he prayed for Salimullah Khan. He applauded the services and contribution of Salimullah for Islam.

Moreover, in a seminar at Expo Center, he said a leader should be fearless and those who feared things were called coward. Leaders are not serving the nation but minting money. Politics is an important responsibility and it should be returned to the people.

“In Shaukat Khanum Hospital, we are giving Rs 4 billion free treatment to cancer patients. In Nimal University, 90 percent students were given scholarships and these students will earn a degree of University of Bradford of United Kingdom. Shaukat Khanum Hospital is my mission and Nimal University is my passion,” he added.
