The resolution, while calling for a trade embargo with India, said Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be mistaken for its weakness.
It urged the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation member states and other international organisations to take notice of India’s stubborn attitude.
Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat while making hollow claims said that it was important for the neighbouring country to also feel the pain and it needed to realise at the same time that it had to curb the terrorism menace.
He said that India would have to respond to Pakistan in its own language without resorting to barbarism.
Responding to General Bipin Rawat’s reckless remarks of teaching Pakistan a lesson, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor stated Indian army has been indulged in their country’s politics in the wake of corruption scandals whereas he vehemently warned Indian civilian and military’s top brass against putting burden of their domestic issues on “Pakistan’s shoulders”.
Reiterating that Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be mistaken for weakness, the ISPR director general stated that Pakistan is ready to give a befitting reply to any misadventure while warning India of stern military repercussions. He urged Indian army chief to abstain from deteriorating the peace situation.
“The Indian government is facing graft scandals at home. And in bid to divert attention from their domestic issues, Indian army is hurling irresponsible statements of war,” he said.
Apprising that Pakistan had been premeditatedly made target of terror menace, ISPR DG vowed not to let anybody—be it Indian army—derail the peace situation in the region.
ISPR DG Asif Ghafoor added that India had earlier staged a drama of surgical strike but failed miserably in presenting the evidence for the same in their parliament.
“We will not let the nation down if anybody tries to test our patience,” stated the ISPR DG while adding that Indian army has been coerced into adopting such reckless narrative due to economic downturn and huge corruption scandals shrouding Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party’s government.
Adding that Indian government has utterly failed to calm down indigenous struggle of Kashmiris, ISPR DG stated that the third generation of the residents of Indian-Held Kashmir is tendering unrivaled sacrifices against Indian regime.
