The Sujag Bar Tahreek (SBT) on Sunday organised a demonstration at Jinnah Bagh in Larkana against the proposed constructions of the Diamer-Bhasha and Kalabagh dams on the Indus River.
Reportedly, Aitzaz Hasan, Naveed Ahmed Kalhoro, Shuaib Nawaz Noonari, Fayaz Ahmed, Tanveer Abbasi, Farhan Kalhoro, Fahad Langah, Zain Brohi and others chanted full-throat slogans against the federal government while holding banners inscribed with their demands.
They further denounced Prime Minister Imran Khan over his initiative to grant citizenship to aliens and illegal immigrants, and said that the initiative was against the Supreme Court’s orders to curb terrorism in the country, which states that all aliens and illegal immigrants should be immediately expelled.
“How could Imran Khan announce to grant them CNICs and citizenships?” they said.
Later, they announced to take part in the upcoming massive hunger strike by the Awami Tahreek on September 28 till 30 in Karachi.
