Unprovoked LoC firing potential threat to regional stability:Corps Commander Conference

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa presided over the 199th Corps Commanders’ Conference at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the forum reviewed the current security environment and challenges moving forward.

The conference labelled unprovoked ceasefire violations at the Line of control (LoC) by the Indian forces as a potential threat towards regional stability.

The recent terrorist attacks in Afghanistan were condemned in the meeting and solidarity was expressed with the Afghan security forces and the people.

The COAS instructed all operations be continued until the desired results were achieved.
