ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Hanif Abbasi has been shifted to Attock jail earlier today (Saturday).
Director Inspector General (DIG) Rawalpindi directed to shift Abbasi after a picture of him with Nawaz Sharif inside Adiala jail emerged on internet.
On Thursday, Punjab Inspector General (IG) Prisons has ordered to probe into the matter and a notification has been issued.
According to the notification, inquiry committee will consist of DIG prisons Malik Shaukat Feroze and AIG Judicial Malik Safdar Nawaz who will look into the matter to find out how the PML-N leader was allowed to enter the admin block and office of jail superintendent.
