Those who offer great sacrifices, live forever: Ch Shujaat Hussain

Author: Staff Report

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ) President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Moonis Elahi on Thursday said that by offering the greatest sacrifice along with Ahle Bait, the grandson of Holy Prophet (PBUH), Hazrat Imam Hussain gave a message of steadfastness for truth and righteousness and not caring for any difficulty, pain, sorrow and grief not only for Islamic Ummah but for the entire mankind which will remain a beacon light for the entire humanity forever.

They said that we should also adopt a character for upholding the country and the nation and confronting the challenges because the Karbala tragedy also gives a message that those who offer great sacrifice for great objectives, live forever.

In their messages for Youm-e-Ashura, they further said that Hazrat Imam Hussain and his colleagues have also given us the lesson to worry about the number of enemy, power and weaponry. Today, every Pakistani is duty bound to make the character, sacrifice and unity of great Shuhda-e-Karbala their beacon and brush aside all their political and regional differences. They should embrace complete unity, discipline, tolerance and sacrifice.
