Subh-e-Nau Women’s Tennis begins on Sunday

ISLAMABAD: The Subh-e-Nau Ladies National Tennis Tournament will be begin here at the PSB Tennis Courts from September 23, it was announced by Subh-eNau chairperson Shahida Kausar Farooq on Thursday. “Subh-e-Nau has hosted most number of exclusive ladies tennis events in the country and this tournament will encourage new female players to come forward and take part in competitive tennis events,” she said in a statement. There will be competitions in three different categories which include ladies singles, ladies doubles and girls U-18 with the prize money set to by Rs250,000. Outstation players will be given daily allowances while junior players will also receive economy class train fares as per Pakistan Tennis Federation rules. The last date for sending entries is September 22.
