KHYBER AGENCY: A woman was killed by her cousin over an issue of land and property at Khyber Agency.
Hina Shahnawaz, 27, an MPhil degree holder, the only bread earner of her family was shot dead when she was returning home. She received four bullets in her chest.
Meanwhile 27 suspected persons were detained by the forces in a search operation carried out here in Shahkas area of tehsil Jamrud of Khyber Agency.
The forces’ official said on Wednesday that the troops conducted a massive search operation in Shahkas and nabbed 27 suspected persons. Arms and ammunition were also recovered during the search, the sources informed.
The suspected were shifted to Shahkas fort of Frontier Corp (FC). Earlier a curfew was imposed in the whole area for almost five hours.
