LAHORE: The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) along with the district government’s drug team carried out an operation against illegal medical laboratories and stopped 22 from working on Wednesday.
According to details, 22 medical laboratories were stopped from functioning for being unregistered with the PHC and worst diagnostic conditions.
Those barred from working include Gilani Lab, Lahore Medical Lab, Lahore High Care Lab, Genex Medical Diagnostic Lab, High Care Medical Laboratories, Path Care Lab and Clinical Laboratory, Bio-tech Lahore Lab and Research Centre and Nameer Lab near the Jinnah Hospital Lahore. Similarly, 10 labs including Prime Care Lab, Ali Clinical Lab, Life Care Medical Lab, Fauji Friends Lab, Hamad Medical Lab, Care Tech Lab, Shahdra Lab, City Lab and RB Clinical Lab and Lahore General Lab, Doctor Lab and Collection Centre, Al-Qaim Clinical Lab and Collection Centre and CDC Lab and Collection Centre in Kahna and Raiwind areas were also stopped from working.
