Barcelona captain Lionel Messi scored a stunning free-kick against Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League fixture on Tuesday, which has got the viewers buzzing.
33 minutes into the second half, Messi struck a sublime free-kick that curled away from the goalkeeper and into the back of the net. The goal was followed by another two by the little Argentine late into the second half as Barcelona beat PSV 4-0.
Ousmanne Dembele was the other scorer on the night as the Blaugranas kick-started their UCL campaign on a winning note. Captain Messi has promised that he and his team would do everything possible to bring the championship ‘back home’.
“We will do everything possible to bring the UCL home,” Barcelona skipper said during his first speech at the Camp Nou after becoming the first-team captain. And his performance proves he is adamant to do so.
