KARACHI: “Muhajirs of the constituency PS-114 must caste their votes in favour of Tessori to prove they cannot be divided”, said, Muhajir Quami Movement leader, Afaq Ahmed at his residence on Friday.
Addressing a press conference, Afaq said that the Muhajirs should not waste their vote and to caste it to the Muhajir candidate- Kamran Tessori. “If I were the constituent of ps-114 then I would caste my vote to him. “This would be the best reply to those who hatch conspiracies among us to divide us “.
He said that Karachi is occupied by the afghans and other immigrants and the Muhajirs are deliberately being turned into a minority. Therefore, it is the dire need of time to support Muhajirs for their existence.” If ARD can be established then why cannot Muhajirs make an alliance? He asked.
To a question related to maintaining peace in the city, he said” if the ruling party claims to maintain law and order and bring peace in the city then it must also accept the responsibility of all the violence and hatred which took place I the past”.
To another question related to exchange of hot-words by the political leaders for one another, he said that they should avoid such cheap animation since such blame-game humiliates them all.
To a question regarding the wall-chalking, he said only they were to erase wall-chalking while the others are busy in spreading hatred by writing anti-Muhajir slogans on the every city-wall.
“Those who have sacrificed their lives and everything for the sake of enhancing this land are criticized to quit Pakistan and go to their original homeland, why is it so?”
To a question, he said that Altaf Hussain does not leave fillers rather he has become very serious and make mature and well-prepared speeches.
I appeal to Army Chief and Director General of Rangers to take notice against such hatred-spreading activities if wall-chalking. “Such elements must be traced and stern action should be taken against them”, he demanded.
