PTI fields Shahzad Waseem as candidate in Senate for by-polls

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday finalised to field Dr Shahzad Waseem for Senate seat in by-election from Punjab. The seat for which Dr. Shahzad Waseem has been nominated was vacated by Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar.

has served as State Minister, Senator, Advisor, is also member of PTI’s Core Committee and Secretary Foreign Affairs. The party has also approved awarding ticket to Shehzad Qureshi to contest by-election from Sindh Assembly constituency PS-111. Governor Sindh Imran Ismail had vacated this seat. Chairman PTI Imran Khan has given formal approval to these nominations.
