Match Preview: Inter Milan vs Tottenham

Author: Web Desk

The wait is over and the biggest league competition in the world is about to kickoff. Spurs will travel to Italy as they are up against Inter Milan in the very first fixture of the Champions League.

Both teams are struggling in their respective leagues as Spurs was trashed by Klopp’s men and Inter had to suffer a one-nil defeat from Parma in their home.

Spurs who are participating in the competition for the first time since the 2011-12 season, took off quite well in EPL with a strong win over Manchester United but defeats from Watford and Liverpool brought them back to earth. But still Spurs will be favorites to win against Milan as they have a very balanced team.

Both teams have brittle defense which can be destroyed anytime. If we compare the midfield Spurs have one of the best midfield line ups in the world. Players like Wink, Ericksen, Dier can make any team the best team of the world. And then they have the best striker in the world, Harry Kane. So, it’ll be an easy win for Spurs against Inter who didn’t do well in this year’s transfer market.
