Reportedly, some of the visitors who had reached the beach for picnicking had to return home because of the dead fish and foul smell caused by them. Some local fishermen were also seen collecting the dead fish which they might sell in the metropolis.
According to details, no official was present to stop the fishermen or clean the beach. A large number of birds also flocked to the beach in order to feed on the dead fish.
According to marine life experts, increasing sea pollution could be a possible reason behind so many dead fish washing ashore.
