PESHAWAR: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested over 25 individuals including Afghan nationals in a raid against the illegal business of Hawala/Hundi in Peshawar today (Sunday).
Director General (FIA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) wing Bashir Ahmed Memon said that arrested individuals are involved in transferring money through illegal ways.
Over 50 shops were sealed by the police during the raid.
He further added that foreign currency worth of Rs25 million recovered from the suspects.
