National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has said that it is his life mission to provide jobs to the unemployed youth of the country.
He expressed these views while talking to Huawei Chief Executive Chi Lin Chung who called on him at the Speaker House on Saturday. Former Chinese ambassador Zhang Chunxiang was also present on the occasion.
He said every Pakistani is talented and our youth is determined to embark Pakistan on the path of development. He added that apart from government jobs, “we have to contribute to arrange private jobs as well”.
The speaker said that all over the world, Pakistani youth has highlighted the country’s name in every field. He said that they have a passion for doing something for the sake of the country and their hearts are filled with nationalism, however their enthusiasm goes down when there are lack of jobs.
Mentioning the top priority of the government, NA Speaker Asad Qaiser said that the government is committed to providing job to the unemployed youth.
“I will utilise all my energies to get jobs for Pakistani youth from international and multinational companies working in Pakistan. In this regard, I will take up this issue not only with the leaders of other political parties in NA but will also discuss with the Members of National Assembly who are related to the business industry and form a comprehensive plan to get employment after consultation,” he remarked.
The speaker on the occasion asked Huawei’s chief executive officer to create a comprehensive plan for jobs in his company.
Talking about the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, the speaker said that the completion of this project is a milestone in Pakistan’s development and prosperity.
“I am ready to go to any extent for the completion of this project,” he committed.
