The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Member National Assembly (MNA), Nafeesa Shah, while criticizing the Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s decision to convert the PM House into a university, has said that there are already 20 universities and 100 colleges for the 1.2 million population of Islamabad.
In her message on the micro blogging website Twitter on Friday she wrote: “I am all for universities & colleges but Islamabad a city of 12 lakh people has 20 Universities & 100 colleges & each of them needs more resources to improve their quality. PM House is an institution not simply a residence. It is sad that PTI is resorting to such cheap stunts.”
In another tweet Nafeesa Shah claimed that the PM House is not the personal property of Imran Khan and he should convert his own residence Bani Gala into a university.
Her tweet read: “This PM house is not personal property of #ImranKhan. He should convert his own Bani Gala Mahal into a university. This House is a state asset and belongs to the people of Pakistan and to house all future prime minister’s as well. Strongly opposed.”
