Sir: I think we need to change the Dynamics and Mindset of this country to raise its level and to eradicate Poverty, Nepotism, Bad Governance, Religious Extremism and Corruption.

Let me explain first that the people, leaders and officials of western countries are not Angels, they are very much like us, they are also looking for a luxury life, want to earn easy money (95% of people buy lottery every week to become a Millionaire), want to jump to get higher posts, want to travel around the world, want to buy posh houses and cars. They have a tendency or you can say an intention to bypass the processes and procedures put in place by the law or society. So what is the difference then between the people of Pakistan and Western Countries and why are these countries rich, stable and popular destination for immigrants?

The only difference is that when anyone, be it rich or poor, privileged class or mediocre, CEO or clerk, principal or a student, local or immigrant, Christian or a Non Christian, policeman or a burglar, commits a crime, or intends to do a crime, they are always aware of the fact that if they were to be caught, no one could exonerate or acquit them. Justice is meted out uniformly and if anyone decides to go ahead with any ill intentions or nefarious plans, then they will have to either present a seal tight alibi or would have to justify as to why they committed these actions in the first place or what their motives were behind these acts.

No one is above the Law (No Sacred Cows, No Messiah). In these countries, Political Parties are bigger than Leaders, Departments are bigger than Officials, Courts (Judiciary) are bigger than Judges, and institutions are bigger than Individuals.

So the point is that you don’t need a mythical Leader in these countries, unlike Pakistan, where people are waiting for a revolutionary and magical leader who can wave his magic wand and can resolve all your problems within minutes. This is not possible; you have to progress gradually in order to bring your house in order. If all departments are functioning as per the Law and Constitution, nothing would ever go wrong.
