COAS visits NUST, applauds the university for its int’l ranking

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Islamabad on Thursday.

The COAS appreciated improvements in NUST’s standing in international level ranking.

The COAS said that NUST was a leading university of Pakistan which would have presence in all four provinces after establishment of Quetta Campus. In addition, NUST is playing a pivotal role in producing a stream of scholars and engineers of highest calibre. He emphasised on the youth to strive for excellence to always ask themselves what they can do for their country.

Earlier on arrival at NUST, the COAS was received by NUST Rector Lieutenant General (r) Naveed Zaman.
