Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu, has arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit to Pakistan.
The Turkish minister was received by senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan.
During his visit, the Turkish Foreign Minister would hold formal talks at the foreign ministry on Friday, besides meeting Prime Minister Imran Khan and other leaders.
Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu would deliver greeting messages from Turkish leadership to PTI Chief and Prime Minister Imran Khan for being elected as the prime minister, and would further review bilateral relations with the new government in Pakistan. All aspects of Pakistan-Turkish bilateral relations and on going cooperation in various fields would also be reviewed. Regional security situation in the Middle East in the context of Syria would also come under discussion.
This visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister would be the fourth visit of any foreign delegate to Pakistan, since the formation of the new government.
