Nawaz to meet workers, sympathisers today: Marriyum Aurangzeb

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb, on Wednesday, said that the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif will meet all the people, coming to sympathize with him for the death of his wife Kulsoom Nawaz, on Thursday (today).

The PML-N leader will meet the party workers and sympathizers from 4pm to 6pm today at his Jati Umra residence on Raiwind Road Lahore.

The party leaders, workers and sympathizers were arriving at the Jati Umra residence on Wednesday to condole with the Sharif family on the demise of Kulsoom Nawaz, who passed away at a hospital in London on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (retired) Muhammad Safdar were released on a three-day parole from the Adiala Jail on the wee hours of Wednesday to attend the last rites of Kulsoom Nawaz.

Shehbaz Sharif, the PML-N president and the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, will reach London to attend Kulsoom Nawz’s funeral prayers at the Regent Park mosque and bring back her body to Lahore.

The security around the Jati Umra residence has been beefed up.
