Karan Johar reveals cast for possible ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2’ remake

Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar says if he ever remakes “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai “, his cast would include Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor in it.

Karan Johar’s first film “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” (1998) had featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji.

While hosting the radio show “Calling Karan Season 2”, one his fans asked him about the sequel of “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” and the actors that he would choose for the movie.

To this Karan replied, “If I made ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2’, I would cast Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor in it.”

Alia was launched by Karan Johar in the film ‘Student of the Year’, while Jhanvi was introduced by Karan in ‘Dhadak’. Ranbir Kapoor has worked with Karan Johar in ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, ‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

Ranbir’s next project ‘Brahmastra’, also starring Alia, has been produced by Karan.
