National cricket team announces Rs3.2 million for dam fund

LAHORE: Pakistan national cricket team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed announced donation of Rs 3.2 million from dam fund on the appeal of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

While talking to media in Qaddafi stadium, Sarfaraz said each of the 16 cricketers who are preparing for the Asia Cup donated an amount of 2 lac rupees for the preparation of the Diamer-Bhasha dam.

He further said that Pakistani people from all over the world are contributing to a project our future generations will benefit from and that every citizen should participate in it.
