‘It is the responsibility of every Pakistani to take part in tree plantation drive’

Euro Oil (Pvt) Ltd Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Syed Sohail Ahmed on Sunday launched a tree plantation drive by planting six saplings, and said that the company would plant 50,000 saplings across the region.

Reportedly, he talked to the media while inaugurating the campaign, and said that it was the responsibility of every individual to participate in the national plantation campaign for reducing pollution and promoting healthy environment for the future of the country.

He said that the Euro Oil provided fuel as well as participated in social works with great zeal and fervour for betterment of the society.

“The campaign is the inception of the green and developed Pakistan,” he said, adding that the company would plant and secure 50,000 saplings on roadsides, railway lines and many public places.

Responding to a question, he said that more than 30 dealers have been asked to supply saplings from Sahiwal on the priority basis.

Meanwhile, several citizens appreciated the company for its effective plan of fuel distribution across the country, and expressed hope that it would not compromise on its quality.

Besides, senior regional manager Syed Ibrahim Gilani, national sales manager Umer Mehdi, marketing manager Atif Mehmood and many oil dealers were also present on the occasion.
