Popular writer, actor Nisar Muhammad Khan passes away

Renowned writer, intellectual, actor, director and former Director Radio Pakistan Peshawar, Nisar Muhammad Khan, passed away on Friday after protracted illness.

Khan was suffering from cancer for the last five years which led to his death.

The deceased was the author of many books and he performed as an actor and directed many Pashto films. A large number of people including artists, writers and relatives attended the funeral prayers of Khan which were offered at Shah Mansoor Swabi, his native village, after which he was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard.
