Pakistan will not fight foreign war anymore, says Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Thursday that the country won’t fight any foreign war anymore.

The premier said that he was against the involvement of armed forces in the foreign war from the very first day, the prime minister said while addressing defense day event at the General Headquarters (GHQ).

PM Imran said that if there is one functional intact institution in Pakistan, it is Pakistan Army.

“The Pakistan army is running at its best because of non-political interference and it stands for merit,” the prime minister said while addressing defense day event at the GHQ.

The premier said that he still remembers the 1965 war and acknowledged the passion of the nation during the wartimes.

He said that the country’s foreign policy will be for the betterment of the nation under his command.
