Twitter pays tribute to nation’s heroes on Defence Day

Today the entire nation is celebrating Defence and Martyrs Day to pay homage to those heroes who sacrificed their lives for the motherland.

Special events have been arranged nationwide to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of the 1965 war.

Families of martyrs are also participating in the events to remember nation’s heroes.

The main event expected to be held at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi which is attended by top officials including Chief of Army staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa and Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.

Moreover, people all over social media are sharing their views and remembering those soldiers who fought for their country no matter what.
