BAHAWALPUR: Nadir Magsi has won the 12th Cholistan Jeep Rally held at the historic Derawar Fort in the desert.
According to the results for Category A, Magsi covered the distance of 450km in four hours, 30 minutes and 32 seconds. Ronny Patel from Sindh bagged the second position by covering the distance in four hours, 48 minutes and 56 seconds while Ans Khakwani stood third after covering the distance in four hours, 53 minutes and 56 seconds.
Meanwhile, Tushna Patel has emerged as the winner in the women’s category of the 12th TDCP Cholistan Jeep Rally. Tushna won the women’s race in the stock category.
In category B, Aamir Magsi stood victorious, Faisal Shadi Khail bagged second position and Awais Khakwani got third position.
Dr Noor ullah, Gohar Sangi and Muhammad Rafiq were declared first, second and third in category C. In category D, Zaffar Khan Baloch stole the show, Farooq Ahmed remained second and Shaheen Iqbal bagged third position.
A culture show and musical night was also arranged at the Derawar Fort. Renowned singers mesmerised the crowd with their voices. A spectacular display of fireworks also dazzled the visitors.
