PHC seals 30 quackery outlets

The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) has sealed 30 quackery outlets in different cities of the province on Tuesday.

According to the details, the PHC teams visited 148 treatment centres in Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Rawalpindi, Lodharan, Sargodha and Pakpattan. As per the census, 41 centres were sealed, while 49 other quacks were found to have quit quackery to start other businesses.

Officials of the district administration and police also accompanied the PHC teams, which supervised the action. Among the sealed centres, 10 of them were in Sargodha, 6 in Rawalpindi, and four each in Pakpattan and Lodharan.
